Despite a couple of invitations to various events, August remained a quiet month for Lucie with just a couple of trips around the local roads to blow away any cobwebs. The insurance also needed renewing again this month and despite rises seen by most insurance companies, Peter James Insurance gave me a quote that was just as good as it was last year and so I have continued to insure Lucie with them.
She did however appear on page 7 of a new book called “The Reliant Three-Wheeler (1935-1973)” that is authored by Stuart Cyphus and myself. The official launch for the book is September 6th though copies have appeared a couple of weeks early on various places throughout the Internet.
