In June 2008, brothers Elvis and Geoffrey Payne, drove 5,500 miles from Tamworth(UK)to the North Cape, the northenmost point in Europe at the top of Norway. In a standard car 5,500 miles is no mean feat though the brothers chose to do it in an 18 year old 3-wheeled Reliant Robin along with four other teams driving 3-wheeled Bond Bugs ranging from 35 - 38 years old.
The journey took three weeks to complete and crossed through eight different countries as well as some very challenging roads. This is the story of how they prepared for the journey along with enhanced extracts from their daily blog following the journey as it unfolded.
